Max is a one-stop shop tool - it has everything you need to recruit including 750M global profiles to source from, agentic outreach to engage passive candidates, agentic review of inbound applications, agentic candidate screeening and agentic interview scheduling. Our goal is to be the faster and lowest cost way to build a high quality candidate funnel for a job role.

About the role
As a member of technical staff at Tezi, you’ll join a small team of top-notch engineers that build the Tezi product and tech stack. We like to operate lean, so we hire self starters who can each own and deliver a big chunk of the product experience or underlying AI, software, or data technology that makes Tezi work. You’ll not only build but also participate in thinking about the product’s design, interact with customers, and project manage your own work.
Our technical stack at its core is a modern web application written in Python and React/Typescript. However, it is AI-native with intelligence integrated across the experience, powered by dozens of AI agents behind the scenes. Surrounding the AI agents is software and data infrastructure that makes the end-to-end system work and delivers a thoughtfully designed experience for our users, both employers and candidates. The tech stack is all hosted on a public cloud.
Requirements
- CS degree in Computer Science or AI from a top tier US university.
- Internship or full time experience at a premier venture backed tech startup or big tech company.
- Interest and proven ability to work on cutting-edge technology, willingness to learn and pick up new skills on a regular basis.
- Comfortable using AI coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code or Codex.
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and get things done. Tezi engineers don’t mind digging into frontend code one day and devops code another if that’s what’s needed to finish their project.
- Willingness and experience working in a fast-paced, high intensity environment of an early stage startup.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a mostly remote work environment.
- Willingness to travel and work in-person roughly one week out of every eight, typically in the SF Bay Area.
- You are eligible to work in the United States and do not require visa sponsorship.
