About the role

As a founding Member of Customer Success staff at Tezi, you will be a pivotal part of the company's success. Your goal is to ensure that our customers have an exceptional experience with Max, our AI recruiter. This is an extremely dynamic role for someone who craves impact, autonomy, and variety. In this role, you will:

  • Strategize about and own maximizing success and retention for each account -- from what Tezi features the customer should leverage, to what customer PoC relationships to invest in, and more
  • Implement Tezi's existing processes for customer onboarding, technical setup, trial conversions, and renewals -- and then design and experiment with new approaches, especially as we launch new versions of the product and enter new market segments
  • Manage relationships with a diverse array of customer stakeholders, from heads of functions to founding recruiters to startup CEOs
  • Get into the nitty gritty of recruiting and Tezi, from investigating and resolving bugs with the R&D team to optimizing sourcing campaigns and job descriptions with customers
  • Deeply understand customer pain points and work with the R&D team to scope major, long-term improvements to the product, as well as small quick wins with immediate customer impact
  • Pilot major new features with customers, helping drive roll-out planning, communications, implementation, and ongoing monitoring
  • Identify and incorporate AI/new tools into Customer Success workflows to improve efficiency

Ultimately, you will grow our early base of happy customers, who will go on to provide essential feedback for shaping our product offering and market positioning, serve as our investor references and evangelists to new customers, and overall form the foundation of Tezi's long-term success.

Requirements

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically from first principles
  • Strong strategic thinking; ability to craft multi-step plans that achieve customer recruiting targets, Tezi customer retention goals, etc.
  • Strong external and internal stakeholder management skills, capable of partnering with a wide range of seniorities, functions, and backgrounds
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Obsession with understanding all the ins and outs of Tezi’s product, including through extensive dogfooding
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a mostly remote work environment
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and figure things out through doing
  • Prioritize and execute with urgency; you default to doing the most important things today, not tomorrow
  • Can explain with practical examples how AI drives efficiency in the CSM workflow
  • Eligible to work in the United States; note that Tezi does not offer visa sponsorship at this time
  • Willingness to travel and work in-person roughly one week out of every eight, typically in the San Francisco Bay Area
